Donations/Fundraising
Camphill School is required to fundraise in the region of R2.5m per annum to cover its running costs.
We receive a grant from the Western Cape Education Department, which partially covers tuition costs.
We do not receive government funding for our boarding houses. This is the area where we need the most financial support.
You can support us in the following ways:

Support Camphill School and make your own achievement more meaningful. Visit
Doit4charity’s
website and consider using it as a platform to gain sponsorship from your friends, family and business contacts: It’s fun and easy!
First you set up your own, simple fundraising blog to process donations online, then you challenge your family, friends,
colleagues and social contacts to sponsor you. It makes your event so much more interesting and in the process you will support disabled children.

If you are in South Africa, consider joining one of these rebate programmes to donate to our school without it costing you anything:
1. The MySchool programme acts as a conduit which raises and delivers essential funding for education
and social development on a sustainable basis. The programme gives parents and other community minded individuals a vehicle through
which to make a meaningful contribution to schools, in a convenient and transparent manner. MySchool effectively facilitates school
support on behalf of a range of business partners who have a specific interest in education. You simply apply for and use a MySchool
supporter card whenever you transact with one of the MySchool partners (like Woolworths, Waltons, Engen, ToysRUs, SupaQuick
and more), and a small percentage of your transaction is then allocated to the school you wish to support. And it doesn’t
cost you a cent!
Please visit the MySchool website for more information. You can also
apply for a card here.

2. Makro has a similar rebate programme, but only purchases made at Makro Milnerton
will be linked to Camphill School. If you are an existing customer at Makro Milnerton, you can have your card linked
to our school at the store or by sending us your details and we can link your card. Camphill School will then receive
a small donation every time you purchase at Makro Milnerton.
All donations – large and small – have a positive impact on our work and are much appreciated.
All monetary donations are acknowledged in our
Annual General Report.
Camphill School is supported by the National Lottery.
Visit the National Lotteries Board website
